Sharon 4lbs can't have made that much difference to your waistline, are you having us on?[msnwink]

well we're getting a pomegranite red car, i always win in the end[msnsmile2] Julie i agree black cars look lovely when the're clean but our car is hardly ever clean so thats why i persuaded dh to get a red one instead

i have just had my first success express meal and i feel absolutely stuffed[msneek] i copied the picture from the book so i'm pretty certain i did it right

i haven't had the chance to fit in any exercise yet, gonna do a quick half hour at 4pm which will give me time for my food to settle

having chicken with roast potatoes for tea on 1/3rd of my plate and free veg on the other 2/3rds, hope to god my portion sizes are ok[msnscared]

Sharon "annual shares with the local car wash men[msnoo] and here i was thinking you're a respectable married woman[msneek][msnwink]"

Hi everyone, didn't post yesterday, was a bit naughty but only with fruit......before you all cry thats OK it's free, did I really NEED 2 punnets of strawbs and 3 bananas[msneek] That was in addition to the grapes I ate at lunch time[msnoo]
I have been over on my syns for the past 2 days, definitely had the munchies[msnsad] but as long as I stick to my allowance today and tomorrow I will be well within my weekly allowance[msnsmile2]

Julie and Fiona you put me to shame, sticking with the plan when you are on holiday, I don't think I will have that much willpower.....4 weeks to go.
I am weighing tomorrow, first time for 2 weeks, would love a loss, but realisitically I will be happy not to have gained, it took me so long to get back into the swing of things after Easter [msnsad]

Julie, your holiday photos were great and you are looking good [clap][clap][clap]

Fiona enjoy your holiday and don't be too hard on yourself[msnwink]

    Be good everyone

OK ladies I have made a decision, tomorrow I am going to go to a slimming world class.

After giving it lots of thought I think it is the only way for me to go.

When I started last January my whole family did it with me and by October I had lost 3 stone 2lb but then I went to Florida and put on 7lb, yes I know that was bad[msnembarrased]. I managed to lose 5lb of that by christmas but then put it all back on again. Since christmas I have struggled and most weeks stayed the same, some weeks put on and hardly ever lost. I feel that it is creeping back on again and if I am not careful I will be back to were I started.

Peter lost loads of weight, infact too much, he was looking drawn, he has now put some back on and looks better for it. Rachel is the same as me, it's creeping on and Hannah and Jess have put it all back on again and some more. So I will be going to the class but making the meals for the whole family.

Jess does not eat meat, not a vegitarian as she will eat fish, will I be able to adjust things for her. Also they all have packed lunches will there be things I can do for that.

When I read about red and green days I get totally lost[msneek].

Not looking forward to going tomorrow as I am fairly shy and do not like walking in a room with people I do not know[msncry]

    Wish me luck.

Oh Sally I am sure you will be pleasantly surprised how friendly everyone is. Also please don't forget that every single person in that room will be in exactly the same boat as you. Some will have more to lose, some less, but if they could do it on their own they wouldn't be there. Plus we have this great forum which allows us to do this on here, which I find very encouraging, even on the bad days.

Up at 4.15 this am after DH woke me up (accidentally I hasten to add) after a call of mother nature at 3.45. Why is it when you want to sleep you can't? And how I do not know after the wine I put away last night!!

Breakfast, cheese & tomato omelette, grapes, orange juice and a pot of tea! Mid morning snack of carrots and olives. My lovely management company have left a huge packet of crisps amongst the welcome pack for me, you have no idea how much willpower it took not to eat them, I am sure I will succumb some time over the next week! Lunch was BBQd prawns soaked in lime juice & garlic with salad. Accompanied by small glass of wine - and my 3rd giant glass of water for the day - ½ gallon gone since we arrived! Just had Ben & Jerries fish food, so please don't think I am being saintly because I am not. Supper is out at The Tavern in Celebration - and ov owners meet up, so I will choose anything I like!

Went for a walk for 30 mins this am, and felt good for it, will try again this evening after supper - perhaps round Celebration Lake, although I think DH wants to get back to his gardening!

Paula and Liz good luck for tomorrow!!! Liz thanks for the compliment but I want to lose another stone and a half[msnwink]

Mizzy that sounds fine for SE meal[msnwink] Great news on the car!!! What model did you choose?

Sally I think you have made the right decision, it will all slot into place soon, and Yes packed lunches will be fine and also I only eat chicken and fish and its easy to adapt. So very best of luck and we will all help[clap][clap][clap]

Fiona it sounds great, I hope you are enjoying yourself though too[msnwink]

food wise i'm having a great day today[angel]

Paula good luck with the weigh in tommorow[clap] i will have my fingers crossed for you

and you too as well Liz, i'm sure it's not going to be as bad as you think but i will keep everything[msneek] crossed for you just in case[msnwink]

Sally, sometimes the support of a class can work wonders and i know red and green sounds scary but they really are just common sense, it's all about eating healthily and making the right food choices so that you dont feel hungry and deprived. If you do decide to join they give a discount for families joining together and if the girls are under 16 then they are allowed to join and attend class FREE OF CHARGE[clap]

I wouldn't worry about being shy or afrai,d Everyone is for the first ever time!!!and i'll bet by the end of class you'll have made some new friends[msnsmile]

any qusetion i can help with then please feel free to post them or dm me and i will do by best to help

    anyway back to the food

i had my usual brekkie which is what i use my HE's for
then i had a breakfast using the success express 1/3rd -2/3rds method
then for tea i had roast chicken and parsnips on 1/3rd of my plate with 2/3rds free veg
i have got strawbs for later with a yoghurt and i have had a few grapes throughout the day

also did 1/2hour on my strider [sporty]

so i'm really pleased with myself[angel][angel][angel]

Sounds like you're having the best of both worlds Fiona, enjoying Florida, eating sensibly but not depriving yourself.
Enjoy Celebration tonight, the tavern is one of my favourite places for dinner

Sally, good luck tomorrow, I agree it is very daunting going somewhere like that alone, but I am sure you will receive a very warm welcome. Do let us know how you go on.
