Hi Tricia
everyones welcome on here[msnsmile2] what's lipotrim?
Mizzy
Hi everyone, another weekend nearly over and yet again I haven't had chance to get on here [msnsad]
Had to work Saturday, and for a few hours today [msnsad] but at least it stopped me going off the rails too much food wise - but I must confess to drinking beer last night [msnembarrased] [msneek] After almost 6 months of sticking to wine and sodas I just had to give in last night [msnembarrased]
[grouphug] for you Liesa, hope the weekend hasn't been too sad for you [grouphug]
Everyone seems to be doing really well - keep it going all [clap]
Julie

Tricia, you are very welcome, the more the merrier, buts what's Lipotrim?[msnwink]
If its a fat blocker or meal replacement please don't go there, not that its any of my business but just remember this.......
The promises are always attractive. The opportunity to lose weight quickly and easily is pretty hard to pass up. When the alternative is carefully monitoring your food intake and making huge efforts to become more physically active, how could simply popping pills seem like a bad idea? It seems too good to be true... and therein lies the problem…most of the time, it is too good to be true.
How much do you need to lose Tricia? I struggled with WW but since starting SW its like I have pressed the refresh button[msnsmile] I am really enjoying it, so maybe a change would work for you, at SW there are no limits on free foods so you never need to be hungry. I lost 5 1/2 lbs on my first week and its a very healthy way of eating too[msnwink]
Evening all[msnwink]
Another very good day today, had a red day today........
Porridge
Skinny latte (healthy extra)
Grilled sausage, bacon and dry fried egg,
Plum
Tuna quiche from SW book (free on red days) with roasted peppers
Apple
2 litres of water
Sliced peach with natural low fat yogurt
We stayed in the warm today so I did an extra 35 mins interval training on my treadmill[sporty][sporty][sporty][sporty]
Julieanne sounds like you are doing well so keep it up!
Well done everyone[clap][sporty][clap][sporty][clap][sporty]

Liesa
Thats the site Liesa!
Julie -- I want to loose 2 1/2 stone, Lipotrim is a meal replacement, but has all the nutrients you need in each one, I have spoken to numerous people that are on it and have been successful, they recommend that when you lose the weight to join WW to keep it off. A lot of pharmacies are doing it, they monitor you and weigh you every week.
I have got all my food for the week, so will stuff myself tonight and start it in the morning!!!
Tricia
so glad you've had a great red day Julie[msnsmile2]
i've had a great red day too[msnwink] roast chicken and vegetables for lunch and turkey meatballs in tomato sauce with roasted vegetables for tea
one pack of mini honeycomb bites 4 syns for a well deserved treat [msnsmile2]
Liesa i hope today wasn't too upsetting for you[grouphug]
Julie we all have the urge to break out once in a while and one bad day doesn't mean a bad week unless you let it, so stick with it and dont feel guilty, your doing great[clap]
thanks everyone for your good wishes for my weigh in i am hoping the scales will be kind[msnembarrased] but can't help thinking about that crab pate and creme egg, hope that i didn't spoil an otherwise good week

Liesa I know what you are going through, it is my Dads 10th Anniversary this coming Saturday, and the whole family are pulling together. My sister in Ireland has arranged a beautiful piece for the paper, with photos and poems. I am making a video of all the little snippets of Dad and overlaying it with a beautiful piece of music I found by Loreena McKennitt. Its a very sad time, and I feel myself weeping silently at the most odd times. Big hugs to you, I know how sad you feel.
Tricia I remember many moons ago (late 80s) doing the Cambridge Diet. Which was meal replacement products, shakes and bars. I did it for about 8 weeks and lost three stone. I had always been fairly slim, (pre kids weren't we all) but blew up over a year. I lost the weight very rapidly, but my skin was really weird for a while after, it felt horrible and loose, and it took months of toning exercises to tighten it all up.
In my experience, I would suggest trying SW with us for a while. Honestly, the weight loss might not be a fast, but it gives your metabolism time to rev up, and also your body will be more toned and feel better at the end. If you have purchased the product, why don't you try it for a week or two, but see it more as a kick start option, rather than long term??

Tricia are you sure about this? it seems a little drastic and the long term success rate for these type of total meal replacement programs are very very low
i know it is being monitored by the pharmacist but have you seen your gp he could perhaps offer you an alternative such as "xenical"(orlistat) which may be more appropriate as you can still eat healthy meals
we will still support and offer encouragement whatever you decide but i beg you to talk to your gp first[grouphug]
