Good morning everyone, lots to read from the weekend.

Julie, hope you are feeling better today.
Theresa, sorry to hear its cold for you, I have a friend coming home for a holiday from Australia this week - I'm hoping the weather here stays hot and sunny for her visit.

Mizzy - I have been very naughty [}] again [msnembarrased] [}]
    Nothing new there then [msnwink]

And I've spent the weekend in the garden in the sun and not doing all the jobs I really should have been doing in the house.....

Good morning all, another lovely day down here. Out walking on the beach before breakfast and the temperature was over 70. It's going to be hot playing tennis this morning. We are off out for the day today, going to a National Trust property which is famous for its display of roses. Going to have a pub supper, got to be salad and something for that.

Interesting to know about the ready cooked chickens. A couple of years ago when they started adding sugar and salt I wrote to Tescos but they were not interested. I pointed out that we were being encouraged to eat less salt and sugar and there they were adding it. All they said was that it made they look more saleable [:P]

Hope you are feeling better this morning Julie and Sally hope Hannah is also back to normal, by the way thanks for your telephone number.

Good luck with the weigh-in Mizzy and anyone else who has one today.

    Cereal and fruit for breakfast
Salad and cold meat for lunch.
    Supper yet to be decided.

Morning all, busy weekend shopping (have got the dress for the wedding + a few bits for EDs 21st on Sat, will be getting her something from Florida when we go 2 weeks tomorrow!) and having YDs friend here yesterday - turned up at 8.30am instead of 3.30am, and one of the little toe-rags had pinched a wheelchair from tesco, and give you 2 guesses where it is - in my garden of course[}][msnmad].

After the whole of our road had heard me ranting at YD (only thing that saved her when DH came home fromt he golf club was ED saying you should have heard mum!), so DH and I have decided on our revenge. I + YD will take it back, and she has to take it in and apologise. Totally irresponsible of them, if they had any idea of what it was like to be disabled they wouldn't do such a stupid thing.

Yesterday's food plan - french bread with sausage and salad for brunch (feeding of the 5K) and supper was frittata and salad. Along with 2 mini calipos and 2 large glasses of pims - was diet lemondade which is all that can be said in it's favour, tons of cherries, a banana, some strawberries and an apple. Am about to look up the syn values and have heart failure.

Today's - have consultants appointments this afternoon (oncologist and breast surgeon) so up at the crack of dawn to walk the hounds and get to work early, so no time for food. Made green salad and forgot the pieces of frittata ([msnembarrased]) but luckily have half a tub of cottage cheese in the fridge at work. Supper is chicken breasts on the bbq marinaded in lemon and pepper and large salad + new pots - bought at the farmers market yesterday and dug up on Saturday morning. Also bought 30 eggs, of which 12 have already been used making a couple of frittatas - ran out of cottage cheese so used quark with one, and cc and quark with the other - v tasty. Seems to me you can chuck in what you like and it usually comes out ok.

I wanted to spend the day in the garden after a mad day on Saturday, but had to persuade YD to get rid of her friends as was not wishing to lie on my lounger with them there! So did get to spend the latter part of the afternoon reading the paper and a book, then out at 7.30 for a walk in the woods as dogs not appreciating the heat at all - even with a hair cut! So have only myself to blame as now have to attack the flowerbeds during the week (perhaps at night when it is cooler??) so they look smart for the party next week - I feel the odd purchase of some cheap pots from homebase or the garden centre might be in order!

Gosh, you lot do chatter away! Lovely to catch up with though.

Well my news is that I lost 3lbs this week, thats the 1lb I put on last week plus some!! Yippeeee![clap][clap][clap][clap][clap]

Finally, I feel like I'm getting somewhere, It also took me down below another stone threashold and now I can say I'm 13 something instead of 15 something, and so turning down that cream cake at the BBQ I went to on saturday was well worth it! Total loss to date 22lbs.

I don't know if it was the extra water, or the fact that I am now having a wholemeal pitta with my salad for lunch and 3 or 4 baby new potatoes with my tea, or that I ate too much the week before and then cut down again but I don't care, it worked.

Julie - I've now set my alarm 5.45 instead of 6.00 to get an extra 15 mins in on the treadmill so I can now do 45 mins. Feels good.

Sorry to hear there's been alot of poorly people about the last few days, just to get my bit in I've had a sore throat since friday but it seems to be on the mend this morning[msnwink]. Hope you're all recovered and raring to go.

    Have a great day everyone.
