    God morning all, well we went to our friend's 65th birthday last night and I had one champagne cocktail, 2 white wine spritzers and a piece of chocolate cake, I am not even going to look up how many sins that all is, will just have to restrain myself for the next few days.

    Dog agility class this morning as long as it stays dry and then will have a long walk with her this afternoon, haven't thought about food yet. Off to think about breakfast.

    Hiya folks! I would like to join in on this slimming club if you will have me!! I've been a (quiet) member on this site for awhile now...

    Got back from Florida one month ago - I did really well I thought, just put on 1.5lbs! However, have put on more than that since we got home! It can't carry on... We are going back to Florida with the family in 5 months - and this excess needs to be gone by then! Do you all belong to various slimming clubs and report in here? or do your own thing with the support of each other, or a combo of both!

    Morning all, just off out with the dogs, got to go to work today as well so taking chicken and salad with me, have a good day one and all.

    Julie, you will have to explain what some of those exercises mean! Am going to the gym tonight and will book in a review then, no pain no gain I suppose.[sporty]

    Morning all. It's back to the grindstone for me this week coming. I have had my monthly and I find it hard to resist carbs for some reason plus I have had to have one of those essential womanly three yearly checks you get when you hit a certain age plus I had to tavel a 300+ mile round trip to a wedding downin Devon so somehow have fallen off the rails slightly .

    Well done to all those who have lost this week and a very big welcome to Les -you will find the support and advice on here invaluable .!

    Just eating my porridge will then get on the treadmill .My task then is to interest Martin in a new game called "Find the bedroom carpet" His room is driving me nuts!

    Hi Les and welcome!!!

    Most of us are members of Slimming World now and report in here as well, we all started doing different plans but SW seemed to be the most successful so gradually over the past year the rest of us have joined a SW class and I have to say its been brilliant[clap][clap][clap]

    I have lost 1 stone 1 lbs at SW plus 4 lbs from the plan on my own before joining[clap] I would like to lose another stone[msnsmile]

    It depends on how much you have to lose I suppose and you don't say if you have a few pounds or stones to lose???[msnwink]

    Fiona, Paula, Mizzy, Sally, Liz and Jill are also SW memebrs, Twiglet does SW but she is down in OZ, Julieanne, Julie B, Janny, Sharon G and Aiminghigh do SW type plan but don't go to a class - I think I have got that right?[msnoo]

    Good luck with it and we will support you all we can[clap][sporty]

    Morning all-quick check in before work!
    If I'm honest, I did well up to Wednesday and then not so well Thurs and Fri[msnembarrased]
    I am still exercising, although not today as yet!
    Julie, I love the sound of your workout. Hope it inspires you.
    I've come to the conclusion that I do find most exercise boring but stick at it because I have to. I enjoy "bursts" of different things, like I enjoy riding my bike, but it's not always practical to do it regularly.

    Hope Mizzy is enjoying her weekend[msneek]

    Welcome Lesley, it really depends upon how much weight you want to loose. If you only have a few pounds to loose, do it without joining a club but with support from here. I suggest you have a look at the Slimming World web site and you will get an idea of what we are doing. I have joined SW as I want to loose 2 stones and think if I do it with their support I will be more successful.

    If you do decide to join a SW group they are a very friendly lot and certainly inspires you if you have a lot to loose.

    Have decided to do a red day today after two green days.

    Cooked breakfast, bacon, quorn sausage, tomato, mushrooms and egg. Lunch will be cold meat and salad and dinner roast turkey joint, veg and gravy. Plus lots of fruit during the day and a muller light yoghurt.

    Welcome Les, we must have been typing at the same time this morning, it doesn't matter what you are following we are all here to help each other. If we didn't all have the same problem we wouldn't be doing this, and the help of each other can keep you from falling off or getting you back on when you have a wobble. Which we all do from time to time!
