    Yes I'm still around but running myself ragged!!
    Haven't got properly to grips with losing the few pounds I put on in Florida, but I WILL.Lost a couple last week, which was great, but although I've eaten reasonably healthily, I haven't had a "plan" and I find I need to focus carefully on what I'm eating before I see results. I don't have much to lose to get back to pre-hol weight, but the last stubborn few are often the hardest.
    On the plus side[msnscared](I think[msnsad]), work is incredibly busy, and will be until the end of the year and because my job is pretty physical this helps with "exercise".

    I'm keeping up with reading the posts-at least[msnembarrased]

    Fiona, 2lbs on from 2 weeks in Florida is pretty good going[clap][clap][clap] You will soon get that off[sporty]

    Sally, how is going for you with the SW menus?

    Julie B, you sound like I was last year before joining SW, maybe try to have a bit more variety at meal times otherwise you will not be getting all the vits and minerals your body needs. I have noticed real improvements in my hair nails and skin since eating more fruits and veg and having different meals everyday, it also stops the boredom[msnsmile]

    Oh and I know all about the pelvic floor[msnscared] Liz on here is a midwife so she may have some better exercises than the ones I do[msnwink]

    Paula, you are going to have to talk to me before going on that treadmill again[msnwink][msnwink], start with a 5 minute walk as a warm up gradually increasing your speed, then a gentle run[sporty][sporty][sporty]You said it was a manual treadmill? Did it come with intructions? I have never used an manual one but it sounds like it could put extra strain on your muscles, so you need to start very gently and only do a few minutes and then increase by maybe 1-2 mins each day, but please go easy[sporty][sporty][sporty]

    Mizzy even though you are drinking the decaf you still need to drink more water, but you already know that[msnwink]

    Fiona i dont envy you that job at all, i used to dread defrosting the freezer and thank god thats a thing of the past!!! i've got a nice new american super duper fridge freezer when we extended the house and i gained a bigger laundry/utility room.

    well today i'm off out to do what is probably a mind numbingly boring course, it'a all about legeslative duties as a new employer[msneek] lunch is provided and it's in a very swish venue so i suppose it may have some perks[msnsmile]

    will check in later to to how your all getting on[clap] suns shining here too Julie[msnsmile]

    Lovely morning here also! But stuck in doing paperwork[msnsad][msnsad]

    Well braved my home scales today and I havn't lost anything!!![msncry][msncry] I've been really good this week as well, but no worries, been here before!
    Believe yesterday that I didn't eat enough so will be better planned today!![msnwink]

    It will move next week, I have a woman in my SW class who swears it takes her two weeks before anything registers on the scales, so it will happen[clap]

    Its nice that all of us regulars on this thread really put in the hard work and effort involved and we all know about the plateau effect so when one of us stays the same we know why[msnwink][msnwink]

    Get out in the garden with that paperwork[msnsmile2]

    Just reporting in after a hard workout on the tread mill as I went out for a meal last night to the most fantastic Indian new cuisine brasserie It is easy to choose well there as there are very few heavy sauces on the menu and those that are there are served on the side a lot of the time.They do a lot of fish dishes so had prawns and salad with plain rice all done with an Indian /Goan twistIf anyuof you are near or ever visit Salisbury you should try this place it is called HOX.
    Anyway it is back to normanl today so will be having
    jacket potato filled with cottage cheese and lots of salad followed by fruit with fromage frais

    and then this evening will be eating pork and apple burgers with veggies- will do sw chips for the others and maybe have some myself.

    Well I have decided which class I am going to, as I wanted an early one it was not a hard choice to make as the early ones were on a Tuesday or Thursday, can't do Tuesday as I play badminton so Thursday chosen, 5.30 tomorrow. In my mind I have already started by it seems that SW has altered so much, when I did it before there were no healthy options, it had to be either a green or red day. I think I have a lot to learn.

    Oh JulieB, I know what you mean about all that water and your pelvic floor I think I know all the loo stops in Swindon at the moment[msnwink]

    I wish I could motivate myself to do more exercise[msneek] Ihave a gym membership I haven't used for ages, in fact I am too embarrased to go afetr all this time[msneek][msnoo]

    I am hoping that lots of hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains and then lots of swimming in the pool inFlorida will get me back on track. It is a bit of a vicious circle, I know exercise energises you and releases endorphins but I am always soooooo exhausted. Perhaps it's time to have my thyroid function checked[msneek]

    Trying really hard to stick to the plan this week but for some reason I am struggling a bit, got to keep motivated!!!
