    Crazy time again just now so whilst I catch up on reading all the posts, I'm not around too much to respond in detail, much as I would like too [msnsad]

    At least it sounds as if everyone is trying hard-I am very impressed how the Slimming World converts are getting the hang of it.

    Mizzy/Julie-with SW, do the amount of syns allowed each day vary depending how much weight you have to lose?

    I've managed to lose 2 1/2 lbs since last Wednesday, so I'm quite pleased. (Serves me right though for putting on so much in Florida[msneek])

    Good luck with weigh-ins and hoping everyone is enjoying the better weather.

    No Carole the amount of syns is totally up to you, the guidelines are that you have between 5-15 each day

    syns can be saved up and carried forward during the week for a special treat or night out , you can use them all at once or spread them out over the week

    then there's flexible syns - these are for times when you need more flexibilty say like a special occasion ,a wedding, holiday or similar - the rule is simple you can go up to and above 50 syns as long as you keep counting them and you are aware of how many you have had, obviously you can't do this every week but the occasional time is ok, after a flexible day you carry on as normal and go back to between 5-15 the very next day

    and it really is a falicy that if you dont use your syns you'll lose more weight or you'll lose it faster, the SW consultants and members have seen it many times , members who come to class and the weight isn't coming off or hardly moving and when asked they all pretty much say the same "they didn't have any syns"

    we have a husband and wife team at my class where his main mission is to eat less than his wife so he can lose weight faster, he has been totally amazed by his wifes results and peeved off because he's had no syns so expected to lose more, whilst his wife is enjoying the full 10-15 and her weights coming off nice and steady[clap][clap][clap]

    as i weigh the members in my class we have lots of fun winding him up[msnembarrased] he lost 3 stone one week!!!! or was that me who wrote 11stone 4lbs in his book instead of 14 stone 11lbs[msneek] i didn't do it on purpose, honest[msnwink]
