    Hello all!!

Theresa, like you say its those bits of info you miss from not having a class, but you are doing really well and we will help, I have started to post healthy extras on my diaries if that helps too[msnwink]

Just cooking sauasge egg bacon etc so its going to be a Red day today.

We are out tonight at a friends party but I am going to eat first as she is making a big curry and a hotpot which I will bypass and I can just nibble on the fruit she always puts out for pudding, its normally melon and strawberries[msnwink]

We all have to take our old vinyl records to play[msneek][msnoo][msnembarrased] and as my eldest has my whole collection which is in his DJ collection I had to go out a by a vinyl record yesterday[msnoo]

Sally and Paula, let us know how you are both doing?

    Catch you all later!

Seem to be doing OK (I think).

Seemed to eat so much yesterday compared to normal, keep saying to Peter it feels like I am eating too much.

Yesterday we tried a red day and today a green.

Spent most of yesterday doing some gardening as it was lovely weather the rest of the day was spent being a taxi to the girls.

    Have a good day everyone.

Sally everyone says things like that in the first week "i seem to have eaten loads and i can't possibly lose weight eating all this food"

it's always really nice when you get on those scales see the loss and think WOW!!!! i CAN eat all that and still lose weight[clap][clap][clap]

after years of starving and depriving ourselves in the attempt to lose the lbs, even the experts now admit that you have to eat to lose weight

Julie hope you have a great night out, why not take a syn free dish along that you can share and enjoy, you dont have to tell anyone it's a SW dish and i'll very much doubt they'll even notice

i am having a mix to max day today so i'm planning on a green dinner and a red tea

i have had my usual toast and ginger jam for brekkie (2xHE's)
having jacket potato with beans for lunch (green)
and a turkey salad for tea (red)

got a punnet of strawberries to snack on (free)

for those of you quite new to the SW food optomising plan i would try and master the red and geen days before attempting the mix to max or success express days - i have had both of these two new plans since Jan and i'm just getting my head around them now!!

weigh in for me tommorow and i'm sure it's got to be a good loss for me this week[msnscared][msnwink]

    fingers crossed[msnsmile]

    Mizzy

Morning all! Busy day yesterday hand washing curtains and hitting home depot & super target. Another homeowner came round yesterday with Krispy Kreme donuts which I managed to resist for about 4 hours and then had one! Not a patch on dunkin donuts, so can safely ignore the remaining 2.

    yesterday's food:
    donut
    raw carrots
    hardboiled egg & tomato sandwich
meal out at Macaronis - calamari (shared)
    grilled salmon with boiled asparagus
1½ glasses of wine & a bacardi and diet coke

Today we are off to the Coast - which is why I am up early so having ham and poached eggs for breakfast, we shall see what lunch and supper are!

Sally when you say quiche is it with pastry or is it the SW flan we make with eggs and cottage cheese - note to self should be making some of those here? Quiche is a no-no if it has pastry, as syns very high. Also watch the smoothies, as soon as you blend the fruit you change the sugar content.

    Have a good BH weekend[clap]

thats looks pretty much great Sally
you need to add another healthy B into the days food as you only have the one (the cheese is a healthy A)

the strawberries in the smoothie would become syns if you blend them (pureed 1/2syn per 28gm) so i'd only use a few
(all fruit becomes syns when blended or cooked, why? because you lose most of the fibre and vastly increse the qty you can consume when blended or cooked)you could try adding a strawberry muller light to the smoothie as those are free

and you can syn your BBQ sauce online using the syns online or syns calculator, if you want me too look it up for you i can but as a guide 1 level tbspn = 1/2 syn

personally i like sweet potato but you could always do normal potato wedges beside the swwet potato ones just in case your not too keen

    hope all this helps

Fiona, its a quiche that I got from SW, no pastry involved[msnsmile2]

Packet of batchelors pasta in sauce made as directed but I used all water and not water and milk, then stir in eggs and some extra cheese from allowance and diced toms and put in oven, must say it looks good[msntongue], hope it tastes as good.

Mizzy I am sticking to red or green days, won't attempt anything else yet.

Just got quiche out of fridge and pinched a bit and it is yummmmmmmmm[msnsmile2]

Sally the Sw frittatas are great made the mistake of having quicke at a friends house last year and then looked up the syn content, I think off the top of my head it was 22 syns or something. Whatever it was, enough to make me not have any again!

Think we are heading off round Clearwater, Caldesi or Treasure Island, am just busy googling!! It's now 12.30 at home, think I can risk phoning home and seeing if the gals are up!

Oh Clearwater is one of my favs[msnwink][msnwink] Been several times since 1983[msnembarrased][msnoo][msnwink]

Sally why not just have a huge bowl of strawberries and pour the yogurt over the top - I used to have a lot of smoothies before starting SW now I don't touch them, I find it far more filling to eat the fruit with the yog on top, same goes for melon etc[msnwink]

Sally I can also recommend the 100 recipes books they are 2 little books Red or Green you buy from class @ £4.99 each and they both have 100 recipes in each and most of the recipes free or low syns, I find them really handy.

I made the Warm Lentil Salad out of the new mag yesterday and it was yummy, its on page 66, free on green (without the bacon or add bacon as a healhty extra)[msnwink]

Mizzy I am not taking anything with me to the party as she is a bit funny about it, the irony is she is not a great cook[msneek] I will have a white wine spritzer though[msnwink]
