Had a good afternoon, was busy so couldn't eat anything!! Had my legs waxed in preparation for baring my bulges to the Florida sun ([msnoo]) and then hit M&S to see if they had anything as I now have no clothes that fit me!
Well for £92 I got 3 skirts and a pair of linen (ish) cropped trousers, I was well impressed. Also bought some new knickers and queued for what seemed like most of the afternoon getting YDs passport sent off for renewal.
Tomato pasta is on the cooker bubbling away as I type and am just off with the hounds for another walk - in the damp (I washed my jeans this am - for what, as they are going to be filthy after this!)
you sound like your soo excited Fiona when are you off?
also isn't it great when our clothes get too big, i must hit the shops soon, i'm desperate for some smaller clothes for my bottom half[msnwink] i'm reluctant to buy new clothes in case they dont fit after another few months
i'll have to go for cheap and cheerful and splash out when i get nearer to my target[msnsmile2]
i've had a great day "food wise" and dh has brought home some strawberries for supper[angel]
Mizzy
Hi everyone, food diary so far today...
Low fat cereal, with skimmed
melon and low fat yogurt
skinny latte x 2
chicken salsa wrap
lots of water[angel]
Not sure about tea yet[msnwink]
Paula, good luck with your first day of slimming world[clap]
Fiona, when do you go, its getting close I know[msnsmile2]
Mizzy its great when you can buy smaller clothes so get out shopping girl[msnwink] I bought a shirt earlier as its so hot here, and don't you just love US sizes I got a 10[clap] Weather set to change tomorrow though so will be chillier[msnsad]
Julieanne, Theresa, Sally and everyone else stick with it and we will all be skinny soon[clap]
Just waiting for DH to finish work then we are going up the Empire State Building while its still nice weather, doing a lot of [sporty][sporty][sporty]phew!!!!
Night all
xx
Monday, but I will shut up or will drive you all mad! However, am de-mob happy and had 2 glasses of wine for supper. Forgot to say I bought a pedometer today - aren't you all impressed? It is so darn complicated I had to give it to YD to set up, and now have to feed in weight and length of stride - for goodness sake, what happened to switch on and go?[V] Never mind, once I finally get it going will be useful.
It felt very good buying clothes a smaller size (or 2), and even if I will only wear them this year, I must have something smart for work, they are probably far too smart for the Florida which is so casual, but I have decided I have reached the age where I look ridiculous going out in shorts and t-shirts, so dress up a bit more! Polo shorts are kept for the golf course and t-shirts for spring cleaning or gardening! I did say I wasn't going to buy anything until after my operation, but at £15 for a skirt I felt I could go mad, and amazingly enough they got the daughter's approval!
Got a list a mile long to get done at work tomorrow, so am off to get a reasonable night's sleep. Good luck tomorrow - anyone being weighed?
Good Morning Everyone
yipee!!!!! only one more weekend then the little darlings are back to school[msnsmile2]
i plan on having a green day today, probably pasta for lunch and chips for tea
Paula i've been wondering, how did you get on with the sweet potato?
and Fiona, what do you mean too old for shorts and t.shirt of course your not!!! what do your girls say, do they think your too old?
sounds like your having a great time over there is NY Julie, i'm glad you and the children are getting some time with your husband in between his work commitments[clap]
have a good day everyone, the wicked weekend is upon us again[msnscared]
Mizzy
I got weighed this morning and I wish I hadn't [msncry]
Now I have 4lb to lose to get to where I wanted to be before I go - a week on Monday [msnoo] [msneek]
Fiona you are not too old for shorts....
You've just reminded me I need to book to get my legs waxed before our trip a week on Monday [clap]
Julie
Mizzy the sweet potato was OK, I roasted it and as I say it was OK I don't think I'll be rushing to buy some for tonights tea, I only peeled one to give us all a little taster. I didn't really get the time to read through the book before tea last night but I did make my own chips, left the skin on, part boiled then put them on a tray with dry lite and sprinkled them with a little chilli powder[msntongue] they were lovely.
I have had my breakfast which was baked beans and a slice of wholemeal toast, is this ok for a green day?
Paula
Paula that sounds ok to me for breakfast, I've just had my banana and about to have my actimel, making myself lists so I do everything I need to today. Lunch I am having low-fat mozzaerella balls with tomato & salad, supper will be fish & chips - SW ones with salad and peas.
Have not got the pedometer working still - am taking it to work to see if I can do it there - but have 2 wet and sleeping dogs after this mornings walk.
No it's not the girls saying that, I don't mind wearing them for scruff gear, but I do like to dress up a bit to go out. They only say I am not allowed to dress like an EMO (straight, tight jeans with pumps) - looks to sad on mothers apparently[msnmad]! Boden or Monsoon is ok - got told off for going to M&S yesterday, but had to try the clothes on (in the kitchen while chopping up supper - dancing round to XFM as I am making my gesture to Radio 2 for replacing the great Johnnie Walker with Chris Evans!) and then they withdrew all rude remarks - in fact, ED is shooting in there tomorrow to get the cropped linen mix trousers, so looks as if M&S might have got a few things right again after a long time in the doldrums. Told them I wasn't paying £80 for a skirt that I might be out of in a couple of months - no might about it, let's think positive - I WILL be out of.
Julieanne - how about a week of being very good - no extras and drink tons of water, a good portion or all of that 4lbs you want to lose might come off.
Julie we want to hear all about the shopping today ......!!
Have a good one peeps - and Janny last 2 weeks before your run, keep up the training - why don't you post your website link so we can make a contribution?
Good luck Julieanne, i know you can do it[clap][clap][clap]
Fiona i need some cropped linen trousers too, were they from marks?
i am also going to buy some longer ones, definately out of my comfort zone but hey they'll probably look better than the cropped ones
i also need two long linen skirts and a nice pair of wedge shoes/mules
i've got loads of tops so it's just the bottom half i need to be kitted out[msneek]
may have a look in tk maxx today if i can drag myself outta my pj's, it's such miserable weather out there i might just stay in instead
Mizzy
