Thanks for the tips Mizzy. The neutral lunch sounds like a good idea, then I can decide. I think a green day is probably best, with a tomato based pasta, and then maybe chicken thrown in as a healthy extra! Plus wine though....can't have pasta without wine, well not me anyway [msntongue]

Hope your night out was great Fiona.

Glad you are feeling better Julie!

Liesa I hope you pop in from time to time, for a catch up. You have to do what is right for you Liesa, I know you are in pain with your joints, its a vicious cycle for you. Lots of luck with it all!

I am off to work now, night night to you all, my day is just starting!

    Have a great weekend everyone!
    Theresa

Fiona and Theresa glad you both had nice meals[msnwink]

Well I have had a very good day today, red today.......

    Porridge
    Skinny latte (healthy a choice)
    No lunch
    Skinny latte (healthy a choice)
    Tuna ratatouille (Yummy!!)
    Almost 2 litres of water[msnwink]

Missed lunch as we were out and about, but had my breakfast late and tea early, got some melon, strawberries and yogurt for later[clap][angel] If I need something heavier I have some cooked chicken on standby in the fridge[msnsmile]

I did 60 minutes on my treadmill as soon as we got home and had my tea straight afterwards so I was very pleased.

It was fab because once I had done 30 mins I got the exercise high which feels great and it was so easy to do the 60 mins[sporty][sporty][sporty]

Really pleased with how my clothes feel and look too[clap][clap][clap]

    Have a great evening all, have a good[zzz] Theresa[msnwink]

    Hi

    Just a quick catch up

firstly can a say goodnight to Theresa[zzz][zzz][zzz]i wont be long in following you

had very busy day today looking for villa in portugal for oct half term, villa prices are great but unfortunately flights are ridiculously expensive [msncry]

    today i have had
    actimel drink
toast and marmalade (no ginger jam left)[msnsad]
    morrocan chicken with roasted vegetables
gammon and egg for tea with jacket potato
maybe mini honeycomb bites later[angel]if i can stay awake long enough

Paula i'm finding that those actimels drinks are working for me with the bloatedness and sluggish digestive problems i have been having, may be worth a try?

    Julie you go girl[sporty][sporty][sporty]Looking Skinny?????[msnwink]

    catch you all tommorow

    Mizzy[msnsmile2]

I started on the actimel yesterday on Thurs as fed up with bloating, has the desired effect! 2 walks with the hounds today but am intending to get to the gym tomorrow, forgot to eat my breakfast but did enjoy my frittata - changed the recipe slightly to see if I could get it to rise more and it did - added another egg, think I need to beat the cottage cheese in a bit more to get a smoother texture. DH is cooking supper tonight - spending his formative years in Hong Kong means he thinks he is the authority on chinese chow in our household - and guess what I am not going to disabuse him!

    thought for the day!!

    Hi girls ( and boys[msnwink])
Do you mind if I join you?
I am trying to lose weight on SW plan without joining.......again, so I am looking elsewhere for motivation.
I first did Slimming World in 1988 when I weighed 12st 2lb and got down to 9st 5lb.....right now I'd kill to be 12st 2lb[msnembarrased]
I have rejoined on and off over the years and am usually successful, though each time I am a little heavier than I was at the previous joining and lose a little less weight everytime I give up!
I have a gym membership which I used to use between 3 and 5 times a week, but haven't been for 18 months and still paying £35 a month[msnembarrased]
I have the most painful knees known to man, been under the knife once for them and would like to avoid a return trip, the surgeon told me to lose weight.
Also have a hiatus hernia, guess what the specialist said after the gastroscopy.....lose weight
I want to lose weight before my 50th birthday next Feb, I didn't want to be fat at 40 but I was[msnsad]I certainly don't want to be fat at 50 so this is my last ditch attempt[msnsad]
Before next Feb I have some other milestones that I would like to be a little slimmer for.
Hols in May, a family wedding in July of my nephew to whom I am very close and don't want to look a frump on his photos, then hols again In Nov with a very slim friend!!!
I have adopted Thurs as my weigh in day and after one week I lost 2kg ( I am using the scales at the surgery as they are easier to read, the disadvantage is they weigh in kg[msnsad])so thats 4 1/2 lb....not the start I would have liked but I am sticking with it......wish me luck!

Welcome to the club Liz. We have a few girls on here doing SW and very well they're doing too. I have been doing WW and although not as good as some on here it's going OK.

    Good luck[msnsmile2]
