Not too bad this weekend, but I'm going to try from Monday to get a real grip as I feel I need to up things to shift this last bit of weight. I'll probably increase the exercise as well as concentrating more on sticking to the diet especially at weekends as this is my "problem area".

Julie, in terms of trainers, when I ran a lot "asics" were the make which a lot of the specialist shops recommended. I personally find some of the Adidas running trainers are good as they have lots of arch support.(Especially the ones with gel cushioning) At the moment, I am using some Sketchers(sports ones, not the fashion ones) and find that their support is good. I've also tried Nike and Reebok.Out of all I've used, I preferred Adidas, but like a lot of these things, it's what suits you individually.

    ahhhhhh...thanks Julie.

Twist and shape is like a stepper machine but it also moves side to side at the same time....does that make sense?
Supposed to be good for your b.., hips, and tops of legs.
There is also some additional hand straps if you want to attach to strengthen and tone arm muscles......

Poor Liesa & Fiona, hope you both feel better soon.

Good luck with WW Caitlin, its a great programme, I am just interested to see if SW is better for me, give it a whirl! Sorry if I am asking so many SW questions, its only because I am just starting off, and unfortunately doing it the other side of the world without classes nearby! I might pm Mizzy or Fiona, keep the forum SW clear?? (I might drive you insane over the next few days, who? what? where? when? why?)

Good luck with the weigh in Mizzy!

Hi everyone, as usual I've been out and about nearly all weekend so not had much computer time.
Think I've been quite good food wise but did have a few wine and sodas [msnembarrased]
Am going to sort of do SW this week, may not follow it strictly but going to try the red and green day principle.

Please post your questions Twiglet - we can all learn from the answers

I've been slowly building up my running (on treadmill) but think I may give interval training a try at the gym tomorrow - see how I go with that.

Hope all those with bugs/germs are on the mend [grouphug]
    Julie
