great priced virgin flights

we decided at the weekend to nip over the pond next week and so rang around all the usual suspects including the virgin website. we got an acceptable price to fly thru thomsons but at the last minute i decided to ring charter travel(attached to this site). lucky i did cos we have paid the same price (well £80 extra for weekend supplements) to fly with virgin, and better flight timings. the only downside was no airmiles but for £199 plus tax one cant complain. may ring virgin in a few months and politely ask....

I don't think it starts until the beginning of March - but soon all Virgin flights will earn points. It will be fewer for the cheaper flights, but it's better than nothing!

yes up in durham the kids break up on the 17th feb. we have to drop the dog off near stanstead anyway so flying from gatwick is not overly a chore. to slightly shatter the illusion, with tax... adult was 330 and child 276 but youd agree its a great price for virgin, and who knows maybe a free upgrade! [msnwink]
