    Polynesian Luau dinner show

    Hi!

Has any of you been to the Polynesian Luau dinner show at Disney's Polynesian resort? If so, is it worth an evening out in our tightish schedule? We will ceratinly go to the Arabian Nights and Cirque du Soleil, but there was a free evening of sorts available towards the end of out stay in Orlando and I provisionally scheduled the Polynesian Luau for that time. But if you people advice that it is nothing special, I'll think of something else. Thanks.

I am not sure about the Luau, but I have read good reviews about the evening show at Fort Wilderness, the Hoop-de-Doo review.

    Hi
We attended the Luau a few years ago over Christmas. It has to be said we certainly enjoyed it and had no complaints. It was a reasonable afternoon for the adults, we had a nice meal and it included drinks, the kids really enjoyed it and though it was good fun( so did we) !

Over the years we have enjoyed quite a few of the character events in Disney, but to be honest we have not enjoyed other themed events at other resorts so couldn't comment enough to give a true comparison.

Not really sure if this helps - sorry

Hi! Thanks to both of you. I decided to leave the Luau until we get there and see how it goes. We will be going in the off-peak period and will take a chance without advance booking for that show.

You might want to consider Sleuths murder mystery show. Unles you are really into horses in a big way-I would swap Arabian Nights for this.

Thanks for the advice, but the Sleuths does not appeal to any of us in the least. Saw it on our 2001 visit and thought it was rather hectic and campy. And yes, all of us love horses (and most other animals)

Good fun for kids of all ages.
    Well it is Disney.

If you book the table for 8.00(prebook now) you get to see the fireworks at Epcot from a height across the lake.

Excellent food and plenty of it.
    Thoroughly recommended.

Hey, thanks! I intended to book soon, but for the 5:15 show; now that you told me, I will swap for the 8pm one. Thanks again.
