Left Juno Beach for Orlando. Stayed at Hawthorn Suites Seaworld. Very comfortable, good location. Heated outside swimming pool with a little childrens playground and Hot Tub. On the way to Orlando we stopped at Fort Pierce and Melbourne. Was a scorching day and Melbourne beach was packed with swimmers and sunbathers. We arrived at Hawthorn Suites then went to Sizzlers for dinner (on husband's request) then went to Downtown Disney again for last minute prezzies. Bought a Cinderella doll for my 4 year old grand-daughter nwhich she just adores. Next morning up bright and early for our trip to Seaworld. Bought tickets at the gate which had just gone up in price. Cost us £38 each. I think it's too big a park to do in one day what with all the different shows on. Anyway, off we went. First stop - dolphins. Fed them, clapped them, felt like a child again, wonderful. Went on the polar ice helicopter ride thingy. Felt a bit seasick but screamed along with everyone else!!! Went to the Dolphin show Believe which was brilliant. Was a very warm today. Park was busy, it being a Sunday so we decided to do what we didn't get doin, the next day. It was good that you were able to go back for a second day. Our weary legs were tired so we hopped home for a rest and then - guess what - Sizzlers for dinner!!!!!
After dinner went a nice quiet relaxing walk along Epcot boardwalk. It is so lovely.
Last full day before leaving for home so went back to Seaworld in morning. Just two minutes from Hotel. Had to see my dolphins again. Park a lot quieter than the Sunday. Did all the shows - saw Shamu. Had a wonderful morning. Went back to Hotel to lie at pool for rest of afternoon. Jumped in the Hot Tub to relax my weary legs.
Packed cases then went to........Sizzlers for dinner
Home today, but plane not leaving until 8p.m. so relaxed by the pool until it was time to go. Had a wonderful trip, although it was a bit exhausting travelling around. Have promised my daughter and grand-daughter a trip to Orlando this time next year so looking for a condo or villa near to Disney but HAS to be near a Ponderosa.
Looking at Emerald Isle location. Three bedrooms. No doubt you'll see my name cropping up on the other forums asking questions. Hope this has been a good report. Any questions please feel free to ask.
