    Dining Plan

Has anyone used or considering the Disney Dining Plan?
At a cost of $37.99 per day per adult, is this good value, or are there any hidden restrictions? I am considering one for my next visit as it looks good value. So I would love to here if anyone has had any problems. Thanks

I think with the dining plan you get
1 Table Service meal ( starter, main, dessert, drink & gratu'ity)
1 Counter Service meal ( starter, main, & drink)
1 Snack ( drink, popcorn, ice cream etc)per day.
For $37.99 per adult per day this seem's to be very good value.
I'm not sure if you have to stay on site or be an annual pass holder or
something like that, but it does seem value for money. You can also use it
    in any order.

    some more info for you

you do have to be a disney hotel guest to purchase this dining plan and you have to purchase it for each night of your stay and for your entire party for ages 3 and over

i have also read that you get vouchers for these meals and they cannot be used in any of the downtown disney restaurants

you can swap two of your table service vouchers to have a meal in a signature restaurant or for a character breakfast

I have found a list of all locations you can use it at.
you can use it at all the parks, hotels & Downtown Disney
Market Place, Pleasure Island, West Side & World of Sports Complex.
As we will be staying on site for a few days in May I think we will
give it a go & see what it's like.

It may seem like good value on the face of it but personally as a family of 3 (2 adults -1 19 year old) if we were to stay onsite and purchase this (assuming the 37.99 is + tax ) making it approx $40 each so $120 a day - if we were to stay for 5 days that would be $600 of our budget allocated to food - I don't think so, neither the budget nor the waistlne could stand it.
