    3rd time lucky part 3

    3rd Jan

A bit of shopping today - well I say a bit , but the credit card took some severe damage today.
Off the Buena Vista outlets on the 535, via Cracker Barrel for breakfast. I must say by now I'm now getting the hang of ordering food and actually getting what I want. Eggs seem to be an impossibility to order - over easy, sunny side ?? I just want a fried egg, why so much choice ?
So to the shops - Gap, Osh Kosh, Nike, Old Navy we did them all. But I must say I don't think I got anything for myself. Tyleigh must be one of the best decked out two year olds in her nursery. All the labels for her and a full wardrobe until she's four - but hey it's holidays and if can's spend it now, when can you ?

So four hours of shopping, with a break for a coffee and cake at that great coffee shop there, and I think we'd all had enough. Time to retire for a swim and a beer.
Went to the Middle eastern restaurant on 192 for dinner, I think its called Jerusalem. Its a bit like a cafe inside, but the food is pretty good.
Hummous, bread, falafels, tablouh are all fresh and extra tasty. And the Turkish coffee ? Well as it should be, strong and thick, tasting just like cigarette butts mixed with tar!

    Animal Kingdom
off the AK today, been once before and it was excellent. It was extra busy today, so we fast passed the Safari, then headed for the Lion King show. Wow, really good, although TJ managed to sleep through the whole lot. After some food we trekked through the jungles, checking out the tigers and the birds. Then over to the Safari.

I think this is one ride you need to time right, I'm sure there are lions there somewhere but I can't see them. Later we checked out the parade, got some rudeness 'Disney style' from a girl on an icecream stand who decided to close right at 4pm leaving three people in the queue (me amongst them)

Then we fought the crowds to get out, passing by the Everest ride, which they were testing while we were there. It looks impressive, but I think most of the ride is within the Mountain as you cant see that much.

Home to the villa, with some takeout which was so poor I can't even remember where we got it.

    5th Jan
More shopping today - at the Florida Mall.
Stopped at Ruby Tuesdays for lunch then hit Macys and Dillards for the sales. I got to spend some time in the Apple shop - my favourite.
Perused over all the new gadetry and bought a case for my iPod, and of course we bought a few things for TJ.
