Please make sure you are properly covered for any medical conditions and if in doubt declare them to your insurance company. As long as you have notified them it may not increase the cost.
Someone who booked with our villa had to cancel his holiday through illness a couple of days before leaving home. The insurance company decided it was a result of an existing condition he had not notifed them of and refused to pay anything.
His only consolation was that at least it happened in the UK and not when he got to Florida.

My parents are both in their 70s and have high blood pressure. They also have this annual policy with Age Concern.

Hello I have just got travel insurance for my mum she also has a lot
    of health problems blood pressure/shingles/stones/diabetes/cholestrol
she is 76. The company is called www.flexicover.com or tel 0870 4422803 they quoted £320, but i did ring Saga they quoted £489 and also age concern they were even more expensive. Flexicover do go into
alot of detail so best make sure you have all the details at the ready. The person who recommended them had
to make a claim they said that they were very good with paying out. So good luck give them a try.

[/quote]My Mum (84) has most of those (apart from stones?) and we paid £159 for a year's worldwide insurance with AmEx (see above). I think you'll find that they cover everything on your list at about half the price! They also cover trips up to 45 days at a time for 183 days per year for everywhere in the world and also include UK cover for trips, all in with the price.
