This is looking good looks like it's only four of us entering. Husband is in London today to no disguise needed in order to buy it but I have made him promise not to read it on the train.

I assume that all the anti Sun forum members do not subscribe in any way to any of Nr Murdoch's other media outlets and boycott them also eg: Times, Sunday Times, Fox TV, Fox Kids, National Geographia, 20th Century Fox Films and Sky TV to name a few.

It's a valid point I suppose, but Murdoch wasn't the editer who ok'd the story and then refused to apologise on behalf of the paper. I'm proud of the way the people of liverpool have handled this, it just shows you that together people can make a difference. The Sun editor came to Liverpool to apologise last year as they lost a lot of circulation, they still said no. Ha!
I don't normally buy papers,get the news off the net,but today i have bought the sun,after all someones got to win,hope it's me[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

I don't think newspapers will every disappear completely - just think of the many uses we have for them (apart from the news, crosswords and 'dine out for £5 tokens');
Putting on the kitchen floor when you have a new puppy, stuffing them into soaking wet shoes/boots to help dry them out, protecting surfaces you do not want the spray paint to go onto when you are putting your house number on the wheelie bin, padding round all the stuff that you have taken out of the freezer when you defrost it, making paper hats, covering the painting table during school art lessons, etc etc .................
Where would we be without them?? [msnsmile2]

Hi
Just caught up with this thread. We are also from Liverpool and know people personally affected by Hillsborough. Would never buy that paper.
