Polar Bears in natural environment.

Just wondered if anyone had ever viewed Polar Bears in their natural habitat? Is it worth the price of the trip?

My father in law is 70 at the end of the year and would love the opportunity to photograph Polar bears in their natural environment. However, it involves a number of flights to the destination, in Churchill, Canada which with taxes etc boosts the price of the flights, and it's not one of the most popular destinations.

It's not the most common of trips but wondered if anyone else has been driven by the desire to see them???

Not one I'v seen, but would absolutely love to, and I am sure your FIL would as it would be a trip of a lifetime
