Here's a link direct to the movie file Julie. It's a really bad approach and landing at Kai-Tak by a Korean Airlines B747. The pilot should have gone round IMHO as they have made a real mess of it.

We used to have trips out/leaving dos etc where you could lie on top of the buildings as the planes arrived in Kai Tak and they flew not very far above you! You got a certificate when you had completed it[msneek][msneek][msneek]Bonkers.

Kai Tak was one of the worse airports to land in. I belive BA only used to send their most experienced pilots on that route, that right Julie? At least this one landed on the runway and not in the SC Sea like some of them used to[msneek][msneek][msneek][msneek][msneek]
