Does anyone else get fed up with this.

On an almost daily basis seeing the same faces in the newspaper, but for NO good reason, - to name a few who irritate me, Victoria Beckham, who in the last day or so seems to have been upstaged by Coleen McLoughlin, Kate Moss, who I don't think is even attractive, thankfully Liz Hurley seems to have had her day finally, the list goes on and on............ but none of them have any talent or skills, so why do the papers keep subjecting us to them? Well, that's my moan of the week, I'll shut up now. Chloe

IMO there are people like Victoria Beckham,Coleen McLoughlin, Kate Moss who like the media attention when it suits them but run the other way when things dont go their way. I do not have any time for these type of people.

Diana was my annoying person who was on the TV every day no matter what it was.

Sad to say Liz Hurley is back with this Catwalk program about to start on Sky!

Because you keep buying the paper !

Editors have a lot of column inches to fill every day. Most of the stuff in the tabloids is garbage, regardless of who is the featured "flavour of the month".

If everyone made a conscious effort not to buy a peper if it was doing a huge splash on one of these minor celebs, the newspaper would soon change tact.

Admittedly, they would move on to another minor celeb, and so the cycle continues, but it does come down to sales figures.

I haven't bought a newspaper for over 10 years, prefering to surf the various news channels for a good overview of world affairs.

My thoughts exactly. We also haven't bought a paper for years, and would not start again either.

Actually when I read the post I was left wondering who Coleen McLoughlin is? Maybe I should start buying Hello magazine

    Nah, I think not [msnwink]

You are not missing anything Rosie believe me - she is the girlfriend of a footballer. I have to say though that I do enjoy very much reading the paper so don't want to give it up just to avoid these twerps. Aswell as the 'news' I particularly enjoy other items, such as properties overseas, which they do alot of in the Mail. Chloe

Must say I do enjoy reading all this rubbish. Although I don't buy Magazines I will have a good look at the OK and Hello at my sisters house.
One irrating thing though is Coleen Mc.Loughlin is from Liverpool like me. In Liverpool we say her name as it is spelt COLEEN the press have now started calling her COAL EEN what's all that about.[msneek]
