Animal Kingdom is also one of our favaourite parks. Having been on 2 real safaris in Kenya and Tansania we thought the safari ride would not be that good but we were definately wrong. We also love the Lion King show. We tend to combine a visit to Animal Knigdom with a visit to MGM as Animal Kingdom closes early evening.

AK definately a favourite with us too - there is something for all ages
<blockquote id="quote" class="ffs">quote:[i]I've always thought that AK makes a great half day, and if you have a ticket that allows park hopping you can do a morning and half the afternoon in AK (to watch the parade) and then head over to Magic Kingdom just as MK starts getting a bit quieter with people leaving.

I would agree with Snapper, we tend to combine it with Epcot for the fireworks, with a break at the villa in between.

i would agree with the majority
we only had a limited time in AK and missed out on quite a bit
but it was a good day and we felt that the pace was a little slower than the other parks
would say definately "yes" worth a visit we are looking forward to going again but i'm gonna try to avoid get soaked on kali river rapids [msneek]

Also forgot to add to my earlier reply, there isnow a walking talking dinosaur that tours around the park. It's name is Lucky and he is really cute.
Also look out for an attendant who is the spitting image of Peter Kay, he let us go in fastpass entrance 3 times in a row without tickets and he is from Manchester, funny how his accent changed from American to Mancunian when he heard our Liverpool one.[msnwink]

Only did it once in 2001 and we were rushed throught it because 2 teenage boys hated. It is definately on our list for this summer with our friends especially with the new ride.

Even though we rushed it, I thought it was good.

Only done it the once, but can't wait to go back, nice little park, the lion king show was brilliant and the 3D bug show was my favourite. It is a more relaxing day than most the other parks, but you can finish it with dinner at the Rainforest Cafe at the entrance. We had kids between 9 and 14 and we all enjoyed it. Can't wait for the new ride....It should tempt older ones too.

Animal kingdom is GREAT even my teenage boys love it. The safari is amazing, and the lion king show is not to be missed. Its is a relaxing day, and as the park closes at tea time, we usually park hop and go to the magic kingdom or Epcot later for the fireworks! Its well worth a visit!

Get there early in the morning to see the animals awake and active especially in Summer. I love Asia, great theming, rapid rides, beautiful tigers and now of course the new rollercoaster ride with the Yeti, it looks really amazing. I also like Its tough to be a bug and the Lion King show though Pocahontas is a bit cheesy. Love the Tree of Life, trying to work out where the animals are, point them out and count them up, and makes for great photos. As a zoo I like this one much better than Busch, the habitats are supurb, really spacious and imaginatively conceived.
