Ours came down on Tuesday too as they were getting on my nerves by then ( full of Xmas spirit aren't I). I must say though, the house looks really bare without them now

I usually take them down by the 12th night although I heard today that they should be down by sunset on the 12th night!
I actually took mine down on Mon as I knew I had a busy week.
all over for another year, quite sad really at how fast christmas creeps up and then whoosh its gone!!! is it just me or does time seem to fly by these days?
Liesa
My three year old cried and cried when I took "Christmas" down today. Glad to see the back of them now, in fact dreading putting them up this year as the lights were all knotted together and I couldn't be bothered unravelling them.......mental note....must get hubby to get lights out next Christmas...or buy new ones.

Liesa time certainly does fly - I have been out tonight with some "girls" who I haven't seen for 21 years!!!!!!! And it seemed just like yesterday since I last saw them [msneek]
Julie
i know the feeling Julie, the brain is the same as it was all those years ago but its just the "shell" thats changed on the outside[msnwink]
Liesa
its pesky kids that make time fly by!! always looking out for them to reach milestones!!!!

I totally agree Liesa Anna ,Im still 16 at heart the figure is really all thats different about me . Tonight Im off to a 70s music show with some friends . I believe one of the reasons time flies by so quickly in recent years is that we spend most of the year preparing , looking forward to or recovering from our trips to Florida . This addiction with Florida has taken over my life .[msnmad][msnmad][msnmad]

Paula-I had 3 identical sets on my tree, each with 150 lights. I took them all off and put them in a carrier bag, all tangled together as I was so fed up of putting the decorations away.Maybe a fibre optic tree next year[laugh]
Liesa-Time seemed to go much slower when I was younger, now it whizzes by so fast it's scary. The thing is, my children think time goes fast too! I often wonder if it's because there's so much more to keep them busy than when I was their age?
