On our last trip we stumbled across the hard rock hotel & casino.
Does Florida now have every form of entertainment?

Do they actually have a casino? I thought gambling was illegal in Florida which is why so many of the casino cruises are successful as they can open up the gaming tables/ slots etc once they are outside the 3 mile water limit.
I think the US Gov. made concessions to Native Americans to have casinos on the reservations in South Florida. I feel sure that I noticed one whilst travelling from Davenport to Miami. I think I am correct in also saying that the tax on their tobacco sales is allowed to be kept by them.

Gambling is allowed on seminole land as this is not owned by the US government (the native americans own and govern it).

There's a Hard Rock casino in Hollywood about 30 minutes from Miami airport. There's also one in Tampa and you pass it on the way to Busch Garden (right hand side from I4). We don't gamble but Drew collects Hard Rock polo shirts![msnsad]
