hi can anyone tell me if you use 'sky talk' as an alternative to ntl or telewest and if so as a phone provider would you recommend them

i am getting more and more fed up with ntl as their 'customer service' leaves a lot to be desired[msnmad]

our account is in my husbands name and although we have set up passwords (for the 4th time now)so they can discuss any queries/changes with me i am always being given the runaround

funny as they are always happy for me to give them my husbands credit card details or bank details to pay the bill but if i want to discuss a problem then its- no way- data protection and all that

it make me so mad[msnmad]

Personally Mizzy, I'd rather not have a phone than use NTL, they are famous worldwide for poor customer service, just do an internet search on it.

Sadly, I don't rate sky much more highly. Have a look at virgin, they do a reasonable package, and their customer service has been pretty good, although I don't have telephone from them Mizzy.

I have said this before - I think we must be a rarity[msnsmile2] -we like NTL and have no problems with them -we have tv phone and broadband from them . On the one ocassion we had no internet and we rang them they quickly discovered our account had been cut off instead of someone else with the same name -well its Smith so probably not that difficult to do- they reconnected us within minutes and gave us a free month for the trouble.

No, I'm sure there's loads of folk happy with NTL Janny. Seek as ye find as they say. Horses for courses etc etc.[msnsmile2]

Janny, it does happen but if you look around you do appear to be in the minority as Macka says. We all have good and bad experiences with various companies but NTL do seem to have got themselves a bad reputation.
