What to buy your man!! (or lady!!)

Well I've nearly done all my Christmas shopping apart from I'm still stuck with what to buy my wonderful husband to be!!

I want to get him something different and not the usual aftershave etc!

I,ve bought him one small present already which is a remote controlled helicopter...big kid as he is!!!...but would like to buy something more special!

What have you bought your special person??

Really boring I'm afraid....clothes. Oh and a dictaphone tape recorder thingy.
We don't really buy each other presents for any occassion.
We did for the first 30 years but neither of us want any more stuff. We have got rid of lots over the last 2 years. It just all needing storing and looking after.
We love theatre tickets and trips. So we arrange happenings rather than buying things.
Arrange a trip to Paris or a weekend in Madrid or theatre tickets to something he will enjoy.

A couple of years ago I got my husband a golfing weekend with lessons - he loved it. It was from red letter days and they do all sorts of experiences. http://www.redletterdays.co.uk/home/index.asp
They do motor racing and all sorts of things out of the ordinary

Sat Nav with maps for 16 European Cities. He travels abroad a lot and is always ringing me and asking me to find him a route from A to B. Hopefully not for much longer

This year Lee has got a new Paintball helmet. The ones he usually rents keep steaming up apparently - bit of a disadvantage when you are trying to keep yourself from being shot I am told [msnoo]

Have yet to go there myself yet Sharon, possibly another pair of Alligator Cowboy boots, I bought him a pair last year in Gregs Western wear on the 192 and he loves them, thing is they are $600+ a pair and he is struggling with can he justify two pairs, best not tell him the price of my shoes, as if he did not know already! Sounds a bit square but when he wears them with a suit he looks the dogs. He will get the usual boring stuff like clothes, books, sweeties, smellies and the likes. [msneek]

Three years ago I treated Colin to a Hot Air balloon Flight. That went down a treat.
