I'm just trying to keep the peace here Chrissy. What might not offend you obviously has offended someone else and hence my posting.

Robert, how would we ever find out about all those useful items for the kitchen we did not know we just had to have if it was not for all those adverts?

Which are always "nine ninety nine" or "nineteen ninety nine" or even "twenty nine ninety nine" LOL!!!!

I love England and all it has to offer and would rather live right where I am that anywhere else.

Having said that, we love vacationing and Florida in particular as it has so much to offer. Wherever you go there is always going to be something you do not like and I for one see that as a positive as the world would be a very boring place if everywhere was exactly the same.

My glass is always half full rather than half empty [msnwink].

    Totally agree[clap][clap][clap]

I can't believe we have 93 posts on What's bad about Florida, and only 34 on What's good, when everyone on this forum loves Florida.

Time to switch threads and share some enthusiam rather than moaning about the little things.I challenge this form to have the GOOD thread to be longer than the bad thread by MIDNIGHT!!!

    Go Go Go!!!![clap][clap][clap]

I agree CDV, where would we all be if we didn't have one of those little Knife thingy's that turn tomatoes into roses and carrots into feathers......we'd be lost[msnwink]
And lets not forget the long list of medicines that we are supposed to go and ask our doctor...sorry, physician....for. They cure everything from athletes foot to hot flushes
All the above said with tongue firmly in cheek so as not to cause offence[msnsmile]

I totally love Florida....for holidays, but I'm English through and through, I don't want to live in Florida full time I love living close to London, it's my home and I get really hacked off when people slate it, so I can quite understand how Americans would take offense at people slating their 'home'.

Totally agree Caroline, love Florida and all the other US States that we have managed to visit so far, but the UK is where my heart lies and I am sure all our US friends feel the same about their home state.[msnsmile2]

    As well as the above:

New car adverts on TV. Too cheap![msnmad]
    Thinking about coming home
Coming home and noisy flights home.
    Parking fees at Disney etc
Too many places to go, can't fit them all in!
There will always be a better exchange rate than the one you took.
Having to pay a ridiculous $2.00+ for a gallon of petrol [msnwink]
Laid back attitude of banks etc

    Good things:
Weather, [msncool]beats December in Manchester for me!
Lack of traffic and turn right on red!
    Golf
Food and more food. Hmmm, donuts.
    ESPN1,2,3
    Sports bars

    Regards, Mark

I like you John, love England for all the right reasons,
I also love America not just Florida, although Florida holds many special memories for us as a family.
We are all individuals, yes the world would be a dulL place if we all liked the same.
Over fifty million people visit Florida every year, surely that say's it all?
How many other places in the world can say the same?
