western beltway toll rd construction

I'm heading to Fla in Jan and want to rent a large villa -- I'm looking at a couple of locations including emerald isle, but I was warned by someone that the construction on the bel[bad language filtered out] is causieng problems. Can anyone tell me which developments are affected by noise, dirt, traffic, etc from the construction??

I can tell you that Emerald Island is not affected by the problems you talk about in your topic above by this huge road being developed. Indian Creek is slightly, and Oak Island but only (in the way) a bit more mud on the roads around there as the road is going over those developments as far as I am aware. Ask all owners of houses in all affected developments to give you an honest answer I am sure they will.

I own on Indian Creek and we have been booked over 40 weeks this year and none of the guests who have stayed have mentioned the new road at all and have been unaffected by it.

We are at oak island cove, the road is not visible due to them putting soil banking up as a barrier,we are far enough away from the construction as are most homes,there are abour 10 homes on the estate which back onto the road,I don't know wether they get problems i'm afraid. We have been fully booked this year and have had no complaints from any of our guests, hope this helps Eric

See I didnt think the road caused many problems (except maybe a little mud on the roads around there) I hope this helps you choose your location. Good luck. Owners on here are honest and if any questions are asked I am sure they will reply from the heart.

Hi,
We are on Sunset Lakes, next community from Emerald Isle, and have had not comments from our guests at all - we are further down the road and can honestly say have not been affected at all. Hope this helps

We just returned from Emerald Island on Wednesday night. The road contruction did not affect us at all.
