Apple Store today and my 8 y/o!

Went to the Apple Store again today, well it has to be done[msnwink]

Two lads who worked there had an electric guitar and a key board plugged into 'garage band' on an iMac and they were jamming.

My 8 y/o son has been teaching himself to play the electric guitar was offered a go.......well I was blown away he played Deep Purples Across the Water brilliantly and got from [clap][clap][clap] from the whole store!!!!!!!!

We came home plugged an electric guitar into a Powerbook and from the powerbook into our surroud sound B & W speakers and he is there now playing away whithout having to use an amp[msnwink]

Technology and 8 y/o boys are just wonderful[clap][clap]

Those keyboards are great Julie - I still remember Isaac doing a performance on one in the Santa Monica Apple Store last February and getting applauded there [msnsmile2]

We love Garageband too - I do the guitar, Isaac does keyboards and a bit of guitar and Sarah does the vocals. We've had some really fun jamming sessions with it. We usually add in a drum and bass loop or two and have something sounding not too bad at all.
