    Welcome to the Forum Wasp.

The best advice you'll get here wasp is to look on this site first before you make a decision. I wish [u]I</u> had.

    John,

Paul (wrpacoo, above) will tell you all about Vista del Lago. The communities are by and large very spread out, as is just about the whole of Florida and you can't get away with driving. However, don't let that out you off, you will, like millions of others, very quickly get used to this and I promise you it won't be a negative.

    Enjoy![msnsmile2]

Wasp, there is a Beef O'Bradys, Dominos and a Subway at the front of the community which, depending on whereabouts you are staying on the community, should be no more than a 10 minute walk. There is also a Pizza Hut, Ace chinese buffet, Brunos (Italian) and a Houlihans within a five minute walk of the entrance. Within a 5 minute drive there is a TGI fridays, Outback, Carrabbas, Cracker Barrel and many more eating places.

Not quite sure what you mean by a holiday atmosphere. It is vert quite even though it is mainly a residential complex. The pools and amenities have never been busy the times we have been there. Depending on what time of year you go there may be more locals around the pool than holiday makers but don't worry they are a real freindly bunch. We now have a large group of local friends. It has a guarded gate and the community is reguarly patrolled.

I must admit it is a bit daunting the first time you book a holiday off of the web but it is well worth it both from a savings point of view and that you can actually see where you are staying. I don't think you will be disappointed wherever you decide to stay.

If you need any further info on Vista Del Lago please let me know.
