When do you put your decorations up?

mine are up!!!! not as nice as previous years but i feel i have lost the will of christmas!!! most of the kids have grown up and left home so only steve russ and lauren here most of the time, terri always at her boyfriends
might put a photo on here tomrrow if you promise not to laugh?[msnwink]

i am cross, i tested the lights before putting them on the tree and now its all dressed with about 500 lights on 2 strips, one has a dodgey wiring! and only works if you wiggle it!!! hubby gonna sort it out later but i would like to have a photo with all the lights working, for the affect!!
i will put one later[msnwink]
