When do you put your decorations up?

I love Christmas, it's one of my favourite times of the year. [clap]

I like to be really organised and have everYthing ready so there is no stress. I have already written my cards and bought many of my gifts[msnwink]

We like to have a large real tree in the hall and then smaller ones some real some artifical in other reception rooms. I just love the smell of a real tree[msnwink]

I now can't wait to put up my decorations, so what date do you all put your decorations up and get your tree (if you have a real one)[msnwink]

My Daughter has her Birthday on 6th December so I usually wait until that is over before I start to put up any decorations.

We have three trees a big 'un and a couple of smaller ones.

We're going red and gold this year. Mrs Macka is fantastic at dressing the tree.[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

1st December for us. First lot goes up on this day and if it is a weekday the rest go up at the weekend. Big child, can't wait. Use to have a real tree but three years ago i swapped this for huge fibre optic.(Cats kept climbing up the real tree and knocking it over, miss the lovely smell though)Unbeknown to me my local council ran a competition last year and one of my neighbours(no idea who) entered my house and I won a prize. Received a cheque in the post and I promptly spent it on more decs.

As my brothers birthday is the 15th December my mum always put the tree up then. I now do the same.

I like Bronze and Gold for my tree with lots of lights outside the house.

I have been told that the lights at our Florida community gates have already gone up so may have to get the lovely MC to put the tree up in the house soon [msnsmile2]
