there is definately a "drink" theme emerging from this post

i like to make sure the house is nice and clean for our return home

we usually make sure the freezer is empty because we went to portugal once and our area suffered a powercut there was something very nasty in the freezer on our return [sick]

and move all "identity documents" bank/credit card statements etc into our very inaccesable loft
space just in case a burgular pays me a visit whilst i'm away
i would prefer to lose the tv and other electrical items rather than our identities

bribe the kids to sleep which they never do

and finally i collapse into bed and struggle with sleep cos i'm sooooo excited

I go to the wesh.com weather site, there is a link on there to about 5 Orlando cams, also there is a site at [website link edited] where you can see the cars just crusing up and down on Daytona Beach - if I can figure where the cam is next time I'm there I will wave to you all! [msnsmile2]

Well you've got to haven't you? We really do make an effort to start having fun as soon as we knock off work. I'm also making a cd for the drive down to Gatwick. I'll not tell anyone so it'll be funny when they hear the tracks coming up. Cliff and "Summer Holiday" obviously Track one, (I'll fire that up as soon as everyone's heads start to drop due to the early start). Then lots of beach boys and reggae.

Any other humorous suggestions?

OMG - we have a holiday CD too - ours starts with Madonna singing "Holiday" then we have loads of American artists - Born it the USA & that kind of stuff. Plus some songs that we hear a lot when we are our there - U2 was on all the radio chanels on last trip so I will be adding that next. AND its against the law to play the holiday CD at any other time other then when packing or driving to the Airport!

Lisa - this next trip I will be taking 3 of my nieces (all in there early 20's), and my best friend. usually once a year we go to disneyland Paris for a long weekend just to catch up and have some fun. But now all the girls are working we decided to go the whole hog and go to Orlando we set the date for 2006. That was a year ago and its just under a year to before we all go. I have been twice in that time but Im really, really looking forward to us all going in 2006. It will be a very special holiday.
