Sorry if this has been covered but I couldn't find a thread on the forum. This happened just before we got to Florida - we heard about it on the news while we were there.

How tragic for the family. We must be more sensible on those roads. I think people just get too excited and forget to be sensible - not just pedestrians but drivers too.

I don't think it's so much the tourist's driving. The Americans drive like maniacs on the roads, I4 is especially dangerous. I hate driving on there.

I was disagree with this. We have been to Florida many times and never had any problems with the standard of driving in Florida. The I4 is a busy road but so is the M25 and M62 and i have seen some bad driving on these roads as well.
Very sad story but im sure an isolated incident.
