    Travelling in October

We have booked our next trip to Florida in October 2006. Travelling on 14 October for 2 weeks. The first week will be the half term in Scotland and the 2nd week UK.

Having never been at this time of year before, can anyone tell my how busy it is likely to be and what the weather might be like.

We were out in Florida this October UK half term and the weather was on the whole very nice.

We didn't find it to be as busy as when we have visited in August - the roads were fine and the shops weren't that busy.

We only went to one park, The Magic Kingdom, for a Mickeys Not So Scary Halloween Party and there was little or no queuing for the rides but then I think that it is limited ticket numbers for a special event such as this.

I would personally say that I think October is a lovely time to visit Florida [msnsmile]

October is a good month to visit. Weather is good, not too hot and very little rain. Parks are not as busy as in August and egtting geared up for the halloween celebrations.

October is a great time to visit, we have been a couple of times in this particular month. Weather is just as I like it, not too hot and the parks are usually okay queues wise.[msnsmile]

October is one of our favourite months to visit, the weather is usually beautiful, hot but not humid, and not too busy.

We go over most Octobers and the weather is usually great. Not quite as busy as the summer period. Like you, we've also booked our flights from the 14th - 28th - our school holiday period.

Friends of ours have just come back, having spent 3 weeks in October. They said the longest they had to queue for any ride was 15 minutes, but mostly went straight on. They had lovely weather as well warm without the humidity - sound the perfect time to go

We were there last month from the 8th - 22nd Oct and it was rather quiet. Weather was beautiful without the humidity. You will have a great time I'm sure of that[msnwink]

We were just there from 14th October I adore October, and find it to be a very favourable time to be in Florida, for so many reasons. Halloween celebrations in the parks and in general are an added bonus. The weather is perfect, we had 80 plus in the first week, and a little cooler the 2nd , about 75!!! I found the parks to have a nice flow, queues low, and Blue skies galore
