    Another question re passports

    Hi

I wonder if anyone can help me. We are hoping to travel to Florida just after Christmas until 8th Jan. Our three children's (Irish) passports expire at the end of May. I believe that officially 90 days are required on your passport, but have heard six months mentioned also. Does anyone know any more about this? Also is there a link to a page where I can print out the official guidelines so that we are not stopped at customs?

    Thanks in advance[msnsmile]

As long as the passport is valid at date of entry you are OK - but it is better to have it last the whole trip. The 6 month rule has been waived see:

    Hi Robert,

Who's a clever boy, then[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]. Thats EXACTLY what I was looking for, but silly me couldn't find it!! We can go ahead now and make the bookings, provided we can get some suitable flights[msnsad]

Thank you so much for that. I'll be able to wave those pages at the customs officials if they give us any hassle!!

Not certain of the relevance to passports.

British Airways used to have a slogan "The World's Favourite Airline"

I can think of a less flattering slogan for TCD.
