    budgeting

I'm working out how much cash to take and need to take account of the $8 entrance to the Disney Parks. Can you pay by credit cards?

Also, a friend who just returned told me that when they filled up with petrol, they went into the kiosk and paid first before filling. Sounds like strange arrangement, is this true?

Staying at holiday Villas on the west side of Kissimmee in the 2 weeeks prior to X-mas. If anyone has any tips/favourites for the local area then I would be pleased to hear.

    Thanks

    Mark,

Yes you can use C/cards everywhere, try not having one!!![xx(]

You can use your card to fill up at the pump like ASDA do, but if you don't want to use your card, you pre-pay as your friend suggests.

I'd take 500 pounds each as a minimum, but that's really a personal thing, I'll start a thread for you to read how much folk take.

After the storms.......people were filling up and driving off without paying....so you had to pay before you got your gas........some stations are dropping this now...

Just make sure you get a receipt if you pay before , we went in the gas station near wet and wild last year
we payed $20(7seater) and then went out to full up , the pump still didn't work went back in and the cashier couldn't remember us paying
after a row with her the manager told us to go ahead
    but felt very uncomfortable

We usually take a mixture of travellers cheques, cash & our credit card, we budget about £1000 per week, but we don't tend to do many parks, love the shopping though.[msnsmile]

By $8 "entrance" for the parks, I assume you mean car parking, (wish it was only $8 to get in), you only pay once per day so if you have say a 7 day pass then you will need 7x$8. If you are hopping then you just show your parking ticket at the subsequent parks.

As the car parking ticket is valid all day
we go back to the villa for a relax and a swim and
then return to the park later to see the fire works
