I don't know if I missed it while reading the previous pages but I haven't seen anyone mention paper drving licenses - for car hire purposes.
We were told to take these - as well as the credit card type ones - because they sometimes ask for them when you go to pick up your car (and they did to us incidently).
One other thing that we are taking this times - and didnt last time - is Mrs Pegasus' glasses prescription. If you go to places like Discovery Cove they can provide you with prescription snorkel masks - and this is a lot easier for them to do if you have the details to hand. If you don't then it's just a case of trial and error until you find a pair that feel right.

Quite right Kenny, another must for the list. You must take both parts of your driving license if you intend driving.

Wow, prescription goggles, how marvellous, they really do think of everything don't they?

How about leaving a list in your laptop bag/flight bag etc of things you need to take every year, so spouse can check his her bits are there, and a box or drawer to put any special bits[ villa owners will know this one], presents for MC etc so you can just throw things in ready for the next trip.
Mind you I do the lists, then recheck em, add things , take away, I pack flight bags and stuff well in advance, pack everybody's clothes weekend before I go, order taxi a month in advance, and have everything written in my DODO pad [Macka, I feel sure you already have one, but if not, dodopad.co.uk will get you one for day to day lists, birthday book etc] BUT on the night before we go, when house is sparkling, and I am off for a long luxury bath and early night, after take-away, so as not to disturb clean house hubby starts with " where's my............[the only thing, not only not packed, but needs washing ironing sewing or something laborious]...." and I end up in bed at 2am, crawling to airport early next morning because, unlike Macka, I don't have an organised listmaking spouse

When it's time for bed the night before Susan, we make the conscious decision that if it's not in, it's not going. Then the following morning, we just check money, passports, car hire docs and flight details, then everything else can be sorted out.

We also make that decision - but unfortunately, 5 mins later - he panics
I also take a shopping list of everything we need to stock up on when we get there, so we can stop off at Publix and stock up quickly , and then the hols can start [msnembarrased]

We don't get a paper licence in Australia, just the credit card type, with our photo on. Will that be ok do you think?

I have only ever given the "plastic" part to car hire and the Police when I had my accident in Fl. they did not ask for the paper part that we have in Britain
