    What makes Florida special ?

We all love the sunshine state...so lets have some of your memorable/magic moments that make Florida special. Mine are as follows:

    1. Getting off the plane to blue skies and then feeling the heat hit you...you know you have arrived !
    2. Driving down the highway with no one 2 cms from your tail. No one on the roads (compared to the M25 that is), no traffic......bliss!
    3. The whole Disney thing..to see the kids faces. priceless.
    4. Eating out...so much to chose from. US 192.....I worked in the Rovers Return for a while.....great nites out !
    5. The laid back way of life.
    6. Value for money.

    Lets have yours.

We love Christmas time in Florida. You can't beat it and once you have experienced a Florida Christmas it's just not the same anywhere else!

It is one of the best places in the world that offers everything you would want on a holiday.

Great sunshine, beaches, entertainment....the list goes on and on.

One thing Florida has over any other place is almost everyone goes home having missed something, so needs to go again.

What do I like about Florida?

Being able to wear a tee-shirt in November without turning blue, being able to eat lobster without taking out a second, sorry third mortgage, being able to fill up at the gas station without having a heart attack at the cost, being able to eat breakfast outside on the patio in my nightdress, having to wear sunglasses to eat breakfast outside at 8am, summer nights that are warmer than UK summer days, having to wear sunscreen every month of the year, shopping in supermarkets that aren't crowded even over holiday weekends, shopping in malls that aren't crowded no matter what day it is, people smiling and asking "Hi,how y'all doin' today" and actually sounding like they care...... how long have you got I think I could go on all night and I haven't even mentioned theme parks yet.
