    Owners/renters

    Hello
For the past couple of days i have been reading through the many posts till i crosseyed.
By reading the posts i take it there are many people who own property in Orlando and i must say the properties are fab.
Are there any renters out there that could possible point me in the right direction and give honest opinions to the following.
We will be driving from Sanford airport. So we want a property to rent that is quite easy to find.
We want to do the disney parks, Sea World and Discovery cove. So something in the middle of these. Also near or in walking distance to some shops, restaurants.
    Any suggestions greatly appreciated.

    Taff,

Yes it'll make you cross eyed, however this is the best advice I can give you.

Don't get wrapped up in getting to the villa (I promise, you'll find it wherever it is, the owners here will make sure you do) and also don't get too wrapped up where it is, they're all pretty well in the same area of orlando (kissimmee) so go for which property suits your needs and your pocket.

You'll see this is true after you've got there, I know it's difficult to accept a stranger's word, so keep asking questions. here's a couple of answers to your first questions,

From Sandford, just about all the villas are about 40-50 minutes drive and I honestly couldn't say that any of them are easier to find than the next. If the owner gives you good directions, It'll be a doddle.

Most villa's are within half an hour or so of any of the attractions, some will be closer to some than others. Get a map on the kissimmee area online and you'll see what I mean. so again, don't let location be the be all and end all of your decision.

Now, walking distance to shops and restaurants. That's a bit trickier, I would look for previous posts on this, or start a new thread for this only, in ask the experts.

Off you go, have fun finding out![msnsmile2]

    Hi Taffy,

YES you will get crosseyed but hey it's worth it!

I think I'm right in saying that ANY villa that you find on here in the Orlando area will be well positioned for all of the attractions. Never worry that you will be too far away from anything because you won't.

Finding everything is really easy, directions from airports to villas always very clear.

The only thing I would say that if you want to walk to shops and restaurants then go for a community that has its own because the Americans just don't walk anywhere, its all geared up to drive.

    Hello Taffy
i will echo what Paul has just said but also add that Satelite navigation is available which would direct you to the villa of your choice and also major attractions , shops etc....
If you are unsure then this would be of great advantage

    Taffy,
like all owners, we all provide pretty comprehensive driving instructions. Ours for instance have been tested out using our daughter who has always had little or no sense of direction.[msnsmile2]

I don't think you will diappointed in any of the villa's on the forum, they are all fabulous. Do a search on the home page, there will be plenty to choose from.[msnsmile2]

    Hi Taffy

we rented a villa through this site for our first visit to orlando in march this year

we stayed in a community just of the 27 and found it easily

    it had good access to all the parks and had a massive walmart 5 minutes up the road for all of our provisions etc;

i'm not sure if you have noticed but when you view a villa just below the owners name is has community info/view map this helped us a lot when choosing our villa

we have already booked again for march 2007 and we cant wait[msnsmile2]
