    Communities suited for young families

Have been looking at various different communities and i am getting all confused. Basically I want a community that has some sort of facilities on site such as a communal pool, childrens playground, small beach?, tennis court, restaurant or shop or bar
    Can anyone help me

    Hi Angela,

Lake Berkley, Terra Verde and Emerald Island all have clubhouses, resort pools/spas,childrens playgrounds, small beach areas, tennis courts etc and have 24 hours security guarded gates.
Many other communities will have some , if not all of what you ask for.
I am sure you will find one to suit you on the OV group of sites.
Have a great time when you get to Florida. [msncool]

    Hello

Regal Palms Resort has a great communal pool.
The waterslide and lazy river is ideal for children.
One of the pools has a shallow entrance which allows the children to sit and play with their toys.
There is also a games room, playground, clubhouse and sportsbar.

Enjoy your search as there is a good selection.

    Hi Lynne,

you forgot to mention the Wal-mart just outside the gated community which is within walking distance from the villa's and the great selection of restaurants within the vicinity.[msntongue]

The restaurant at the clubhouse serves both breakfast and lunch and is really good!! They do an excellent Sunday morning breakfast buffet.

    Lynne,

Can the tennis courts and gym be used by outsiders? e.g those not stay at SD?

Play parks and tennis courts are normal on a lot of communities...........even if they have few short term rental homes.....so you should have a lot of homes to choose from.....[msnsmile]
