Just got back this morning after a great 10 days in the sunny state, well except for sunday night and most of monday 24th Oct.When Wilma hit Haines City, we were due to be married at noon but the wedding chapel postponed it till 5pm.The weather had completely changed then, lovely and sunny and virtually no breeze.
I will be posting some photos later,need to catch up on some sleep after the flights, came back via Chicago.
First time staying on Southern Dunes would definetly recommend it to anyone, great location and frindly locals.The 'All Star Grill' across from Wal-Mart .... terrific service and food.Tried getting into MAnny's Chophouse 3 times but the queues were right around the building, must be good.Had to resort to Sonny's BBQ Pit, not bad but very slow service and food not all that warm.
Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party was brilliant, even though our kids are teenagers,they enjoyed finding the 'trick or treat ' stations around Magic Kingdom, all of us came back with bags full of sweets.Everyones gone to bed but 'mum',so i'll have a cup of proper tea and have a snooze.[msnwink]
