Accidents like this are very sad and devestating for the families involved.

Road Traffic Accidents can happen anywhere where there are people and cars together though.

Lots of people walk to Universal, but the entrance is not really designed for people on foot, I think you are much safer driving however short the distance.
Having said all that, how very sad for his wife and family, my thoughts are with them.

It would be a good idea to amend this thread title, as it implies that this poor man was killed inside Universal Studios.

My husbands Aunt always looks the wrong way before crossing here...we have had to pull her out of the way of traffic a few times......

I agree, from the title I thought someone had been killed on a ride or something in Universal.

What a tragedy though, my heart goes out to the sons witnessing the accident. This is supposed to be a holiday of a lifetime for them, how very sad.
