    Duty free!

Just wondering, we fly to Orlando via Philly in Dec. When you get off the plane are you allowed to go to the duty free in Philly before you board for Orlando? ( Staying over the new year so just thought I would see if I can increase my supply of Bailey`s. )

I wouldn't have thought so as I think it would be classed as an internal flight. Can someone confirm.

No, you're not allowed into Duty Free at a stopover airport on the way to Florida. You are on the way home though as you're taking an International flight back to the UK.

Whichever way you're flying, you're still restricted by the import conditions of each country anyway.

You can take it from the UK to US and when you return from the US they normally bring it to your plane on the international leg of your journey.
We have found it to alot cheaper in Florida than in the UK. We bought a 2 litre bottle of Smirnoff vodka from the ABC on the US192 and it cost us $20 or approx £12.00.

Yes, I agree Niel and Kathy, we get our Bombay Saphire when we arrive from a liquor store, and it's cheaper than duty free! and now, you can get schweppes tonic just about everywhere. (as any member of the OV Forum G&T appreciation society will no doubt confirm).

We go out on Dec 12th. Return on the 11th Jan. Can`t wait!!It seem`s like we have months to go.Ahyone seen Bailey`s in a liquor store. Must admit I have never been inside one. Usually just get the goody`s from wall-mart.
