I know this has proberly been asked before but can you take chocolate into america,if not can you buy things like mars bars.The reason being is my husband is diabetic and when his sugar level goes too low he finds that a mars helps to bring it up again.

I normally take chocolate with us.

and I saw a bogoff on cadburys somewhere when we were over last month,but since I am not bothered about chocolate I did not note it (on a wandery trail back from Florida Mall)I expect one of the owners noted it and will post.

The one thing I advise all my guests to take is English tea otherwise most things are available better and cheaper over there (I do take mixed dried herbs as I have not found an American one we like;too much basil?)

Although you can get Cadburys and Mars etc they don't taste quite the same so we always take some Cadburys with us[msnwink]

We took a full tin of quality street last time with us. You can take other food items as long as it not meat, fruit, fish etc

I just love the American "Hershey" chocolate and you can buy that everywhere. Love the Almond bar.....

Just going off at a tangent, for all those choc-a-holics out there. If your visiting Epcot, pop over to Norway as they have some of the best Milk Chocolate we have tasted. mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm really nice.
My daughter has to have her daily intake of chocolate and after going on the Norway ride which is quiet entertaining itself she spotted these bars in the shop and bought 5.(out of dads money of course) Agreedy thing.
