    The only difference you will find is the keyboard. The pound key has the same name in the USA, but we know it as the hash key. There are ways of printing £ instead of # on the PC. On the Mac you have a little flag on the menubar and you can choose your layout. That is how I just changed my £ to # - just like that.

    Because you have an external power supply (which works with 110V and 240V, the only thing you have to deal with is the mains plug.
