    Disney Cruise Line

    hi

please can you tell me if anyone has done the disney 3 day cruise and if so would you recommend it
i have to decide between this and a flight upgrade i know what i am getting for the upgrade but not sure about the cruise

the powers that control my holiday budget decree that i can have one or the other but not both

    My choices are :-

    A. flight upgrade to virgins prem economy

    B. 3 day disney cruise for extra few $$

any info or advice would be appreciated i hate having to choose

    Hi Mizzy,
I have only done the Carnival Cruise 3 day to the Bahamas, but there is an article in the Orlando guide, which gives you an idea what to expect

    Mizzy,

Haven't actually been on the mini cruise ships , but my in - laws who live in Florida have and said they're brilliant. They use the Carnival ship and say it's fabulous. We sometimes watch the liners go out on a Sunday. (from a small fish restaurant at Port Canaveral). Here's some photos taken a couple of weeks ago when we visited - after a day at Cocoa Beach. Hope this helps you decide ! Think I know what I'd be doing - trading 9 hours of comfort for 3 days of luxury !!

Disney Cruise Ship - Horn plays "When You Wish Upon A Star"

Donalds Nephews - in the cheap seats

    Mariner

Mariner again - it has about 9 passenger decks [:O]

Lets see extra comfort for 9 hours each way on a flight that will still get you there the same time or 3 days of Disney Magic with no cooking etc.......I know where my money would be (and hopefully will next year if the rest of the family can sort their schedules out!!!)

ps forgot to mention I'm mean, would rather save the money from upgrading for another economy flight for the same reason.

Even though I love to fly Premium Economy for the extra room, I think I would trade it for a trip on a Disney Cruise.[msnsmile2]

This is so strange - have just DM'd you (before reading this message) and have been extolling the virtues of cruising!! No contest - the cruise would win every time for me.

We did the 4 night Disney cruise last December. We ALL loved it so much we are doing the 7 night one this December. It was the best part of any holiday we have ever had. I would certainly choose the 3 day cruise above a flight upgrade any day of the week[8D]

    Mizzy,
if you have enough time you could get a virgin credit card ( I presuming you don't have one already) collect air miles and maybe get enough for the upgrade aswell.

Cruise definitely! You will have a wonderful time! No contest for us I am afraid as we are totally hooked on cruising - and our villa of course!
