    Urban Myth`s

Just thought it would make interesting reading if we all jotted down the 'NO THIS IS REALLY TRUE ' story`s that you hear. You know the one`s that start my best freinds Grandma, Brother, etc.

Just heard this one this morning!

'My neighbours best freinds Grandma was in the Metro Centre and found a wallet, she handed it in to security and they took her name and address.Well low and behold it belonged to a gentleman with a bad english accent who after thanking her for her honesty told her to stay away from the Metro Centre over Chrissmas then hung up!'

I think I first heard this one about three years ago, she seemed a little disapointed when I stopped her in the middle of the tale to tell her the end.

    Funny you should write this,

Wife came home yesterday and started telling me about her friends friend who had found a wallet and.......................stay away from the Meadow Hall shopping centre this christmas.

She seemed very annoyed that i didn't believe it and i told her it was an urban myth,
    thanks for the ammo Norma[msnwink]

I take it Emm that you won`t have heard the one that goes either,

    My bestfreinds gran,Aunt etc etc,

They were in the mullti storey car park when a lady asked if they could have a lift as her car would not start. Thinking its a lady with lot`s of shopping bag`s and she look`s ok it was safe to give her a lift.

Off they go out into the traffic and after a while a car pulls out into the path of the freinds granny, aunts car and she has to break sharpely. She get`s out the car to see what damage is caused and the lady from the carpark jump`s out of the car and run`s away. She looks in her car to see if the lady has pinched anything and there on the passanger seat was a big knife!!!!

Now sometimes this knife will have blood on depends how daft the person who is telling this TRUE story is.
