Apparently this has the potential to turn into a hurricane when it gets into the Gulf[msnscared] [msnscared]
Is it going to threaten Florida?

Nobody is sure just yet but on the current path then the experts at the National Hurricane centre would say no.
Please do not worry about it as its unlikely to hit Floirda.

The current 5 day prediction has it going towards central america before moving north over the yucatan penisula (mexico). Historically storms that have this sort of pattern do not end up anywhere Florida.

Maybe a good time to remind people to turn off unwanted lights and pool heating etc to stop future power cuts.....the storm has taken a turn towards FL.......but they are expecting it to go more west later....which means the oil supplies could again be hit.....
