Thread: Villa owners adverts

  1. #51
Before we bought our villa we always left all our pool toys and surf boards, that we bought at Clearwater, and must admit never gave it a thought
On returning to our villa in the summer however we were delighted with some of the items left from the other guests including a huge scooby doo
We also take over lots of books for exchange and as a result have quite a selection now
I always mean to read more but funny thing in Florida i just don't seem to get around to it!!

    Hi
as a guest earlier this year we left plug in childrens nightlights
we only paid a few dollars for them in publix and it helped the little ones settle at night without being afraid of their new enviroment and also clearly lit the path to the bathroom.
we also left rain ponchos and seaworld tickets because we had some free days left on them.

I have nightlights dotted around my home too, upstairs and downstairs. I don't like walking around when it is completely dark.[msnsmile2][msnsmile2]

I have night lights all around my FL home.....apart from the bedrooms.....I never need to turn on a light in the evening to go make a cup of tea........we do the same back home in MA.........unlike in England where this is more street lighting.....its pitch black outside our home.....so it very dark inside.....

We have little night lights all around the villa, they stay on even if we have no guests in.

Chrizzy I love your new avatar.

Ita an excellent idea about the night lights. We used them when the children were small and they were great.
I will get some next time we go.

I saw some really beautiful ones in Old Town in the Christmas shop last year - little teacups and saucers. Sadly (or maybe luckily!) the shop had just shut!!

We bought some for our villa as we thought it was a good idea when children are staying. There are some great novelty ones around.

Me too Carla, I always keep one in my suitcase as well so that when I am travelling elsewhere in the US I can use it. I tend to get a bit clausrophobic if I am in strange surroundings and it is pitch black[msnoo]
