eating gator

hi - other than gatorland can anyone tell me where else we can eat gator - my 12 year old son really wants to try it (he didn't believe me when i said it tasted like KFC Popcorn Chicken!).

We ate it at Gatorland and you are right - it does taste just like chicken!

We had gator in the UK at an Old Orleans and also City Limits (same pub group). It came a bit like a surf and turf meal.

It can be as tough as old boot. We had it in Gatorland which I thought was a bit ironic!

I have a menu from cattlemans and it has gator on the menu,battered and fried i think it said,we are going to try it next year so if you try it you will have to let us know what its like[msneek]
